5 Active Date Ideas You’ll Both Enjoy

Have you made plans for Valentine’s Day yet? Instead of going out for dinner and a movie, why not shake things up this year! Whether this is your first Valentine’s Day together or your fifth, here are five active date ideas that will strengthen more than just your relationship.

Go rock climbing
Have you always wanted to try rock climbing? Use this opportunity to learn something new and take your relationship to new heights. It can also be a great team building exercise. Look up the nearest indoor rock climbing facility in your area and schedule a time for you and your sweetheart to give it a try.

Play some paintball
Girls, if you really want to impress your guy on Valentine’s Day, surprise him by scheduling some court time at a local indoor paintball field. In case paintball is not your thing, he’ll appreciate the fact that you’re willing to go out of your comfort zone to try something he likes.

Hit the slopes
Do you ski or snowboard? Why not hit the slopes this Valentine’s Day? You can use this time to cozy up on the chairlift and show off your skills. When you’re done, you can head to the lodge for some fireside conversation over cappuccino.

Go ice skating
AskMen.com ranked ice skating number two on their list of favorite first date ideas, stating that it’s an excellent opportunity to have some fun and get to know each other better.

Dare to dance
Love to dance? Encourage your date to take a dance class with you. Whether you learn to Salsa, Samba or Cha Cha, dancing is a great way to bond with your significant other.

No matter what activity you try this Valentine’s Day, make sure to drink plenty of water. After all, drinking water does help give you fresher breath by washing away bacteria that causes bad breath. So before you pucker up, drink some water first.
