On your mark…get set…go! Although springtime is the unofficial start to race season, there are plenty of races to run this winter. Running in the cold is a fun way to prepare and train for races in the spring and summer. Check out our favorite races to run this winter. Running Fit Holiday Hustle

Whether you were naughty or nice this year, it’s time for the Holiday Hustle 5K and 1-mile race! This quick dash begins at dusk and takes you through the scenic neighborhood streets of Dexter, Michigan so you can marvel at the impressive holiday light displays while burning off a few extra holiday calories. The first 500 registrants will receive their choice of flashing or jingling flair, and all race participants will receive a custom Holiday Hustle beanie. 

RAM Racing Hot Chocolate 15K/5K

Ready for the sweetest race of the season? Established in 2008, the Hot Chocolate 15K/5K is the fastest growing race in the nation, with over 200,000 runners! All 15K runners will receive an official Hot Chocolate St. Louis medal that looks like a chocolate bar wrapped in goal foil. Before you head to the post-race party and indulge in hot chocolate, be sure to quench your thirst with a bottle of Absopure.

RAM Racing Rudolph Ramble 5K

Race through Lincoln Park during the most festive race of the season as you enjoy carolers and holiday decorations throughout the course, plus hot chocolate at the finish line. Bring the little ones with you, too! Children 12 years old and younger can sign up for the Donner Dash race.

One…two…three… Hike! Start your Super Bowl Sunday the healthy way at every game day lover’s favorite race. Race participants can run or walk, and will receive a commemorative pair of gloves, medal, and a pint glass, which you can put to use later during the big game! St. Patrick’s Parade Corktown Races

Running Fit Shamrocks and Shenanigans

The luck of the Irish will be on your side during Shamrocks and Shenanigans in Ann Arbor. This race has a 5K run/walk option, or Kid’s Kilometer for the younger crowd. Race participants will run down Main Street and will finish behind Conor O’Neils. After the race, be sure to enjoy the post-race celebration full of food, drinks, live music, bagpipers, Irish dancers and face painters.
